Superbuy QC Photos: A Practical Checklist Before International Shipping

Review warehouse photos in a useful order, distinguish them from seller images and request specific evidence before making a shipping decision.

The best question to ask of a QC photograph is specific: does this image show the detail I need to decide whether to keep this item? A general impression that something “looks good” is less useful than a deliberate check of the selected option, quantity, measurements and visible condition.

Superbuy’s shopping guide describes warehouse inspection and photographs after arrival. This article offers an independent way to review that evidence. It does not turn photographs into authentication, laboratory testing or a guarantee of how an item will perform after use.

Identify whose photograph you are viewing

A seller photograph illustrates an offer. A catalogue image helps you discover a product. A warehouse photograph associated with your order shows the item recorded at that stage of your purchase. These images can all be useful, but they answer different questions.

SuperbuyTab displays images supplied by CnBuyCha. We do not label every catalogue image as a personal Superbuy QC photograph. To review your own received order, use the images and order information available through your Superbuy account.

Before drawing a conclusion, confirm the order reference and the item being shown. This matters when you have bought several similar colours or sizes. An excellent photograph of the wrong order does not resolve the question you are trying to answer.

Check identity before small details

Start with quantity, model or version, colour and visible size information. Compare them against the option selected in the order, not against the first photograph you remember from browsing. Note any discrepancy before spending time on minor cosmetic details.

Colour deserves caution. Lighting, camera processing and your display can change its appearance. If two options are close in colour, ask for evidence that distinguishes the selected option, such as a visible option label or a comparison under clearer lighting. Do not treat a slightly warmer image as conclusive proof of a wrong item.

For multi-piece sets, check that the visible pieces match what you ordered. If the image does not show all components, mark the quantity as unresolved rather than assuming that anything outside the frame is present.

Use a category-specific review order

The details worth examining depend on what you intend to use. A useful checklist is short enough to complete and specific enough to reveal missing evidence.

Item First checks Evidence that may be useful
Clothing Selected size, overall shape, obvious marks Flat measurements and close views of important seams
Shoes Pair, size labels, visible symmetry and condition Both shoes from comparable angles; relevant length measurement
Bags Size, closure, straps and included parts Interior, fastenings and attachment points
Accessories Dimensions, quantity and compatibility details Scale reference and close view of the relevant fitting
Electronics Model label, included components, visible damage A clearly defined test if available and appropriate

These are editorial checks, not a claim that every inspection package includes them. Confirm what a requested service actually covers before paying for additional work.

Ask for evidence that resolves a decision

“More photos please” can result in several new views that still miss the important feature. Name the part, the angle and the reason. For example: “Please photograph the inside zip fully open, with the lining visible,” or “Please show the size labels of both shoes in one clear view.”

For a measurement, define the endpoints and method. A clothing request might specify a flat, unstretched chest measurement from one underarm seam to the other. A bag request might distinguish outer dimensions from the size of its opening. Without that definition, two accurate measurements can describe different things.

Superbuy’s fee page describes optional detailed photography and inspection services. Check the current service scope and price in your account. Purchase evidence because it can change your decision, not because a larger number of photographs automatically means a better inspection.

Compare measurements with a useful reference

For fit, a familiar garment measured the same way can be a more useful comparison than a generic size letter. Record your reference measurements before examining the new item, so you are not changing your standard to justify a purchase you already like.

Allow for the fact that fabric, construction and intended fit affect how a measurement feels in use. A stretch garment and a rigid woven garment with the same flat width may not wear alike. A photograph with a tape measure is evidence about a dimension, not a complete simulation of wearing the item.

Our shoe and clothing size guide explains how to build a consistent reference sheet. Use it to decide what must be measured, and avoid requesting a collection of dimensions that do not influence your choice.

Record observations without overstating them

Separate what you can see from what you infer. “A dark mark is visible beside the left pocket” is an observation. “The fabric is permanently damaged” is a stronger conclusion that may need additional evidence. Clear language helps support understand what to investigate.

The same principle applies to functionality. A photograph showing an indicator light does not demonstrate every function of an electronic product. A closed zip does not prove that it moves smoothly through repeated use. Ask for a relevant service if a particular function is important, and confirm the limits of that service.

Do not use QC photographs alone to declare an item authentic. If authenticity is essential, establish what reliable provenance or authorised purchasing channel you require before buying. A visual comparison cannot replace that requirement.

Decide before changing packaging or submitting a parcel

Use three practical states in your order notes: accepted, needs more evidence, or issue raised. An item should not move into the accepted group simply because it has been waiting for several days or because the rest of your parcel is ready.

If there is a mismatch or visible problem, contact Superbuy through the relevant order with the selected option and supporting images. Ask what action is available under the seller’s and service’s current conditions. Do not assume that every item has an identical return window or that a return will be accepted automatically.

Keep tags, accessories and packaging intact while the issue is unresolved. Before authorising any removal or alteration, understand how it affects the investigation or potential return. Our returns guide explains how to prepare a clear case.

Keep the final review compact and traceable

Save the order reference, the evidence you relied on and your decision. You do not need a long report for every inexpensive item. A concise note such as “correct option; required measurement checked; no unresolved visible issue” can be enough to preserve your reasoning.

For higher-value or technically complex items, decide in advance what evidence is necessary and what uncertainty you are willing to accept. An inspection process is more useful when it follows your requirements instead of becoming an open-ended search for reassurance.

Once all selected items have a clear decision, move to parcel planning. Keep inspection and shipping as separate decisions: accepting an item does not automatically determine the best way to protect or send it.
